Colour 🌈: Caramel
Nose👃🏼: Glacé cherries again, pear drops, hay, lemon peel, hints of chocolate caramel and Orange marmalade
Taste 👅: Chocolate caramel, butterscotch and pear drops come out before a huge blast of chilli heat. The orange marmalade finds its way out before revealing a subtle smoke
Finish 🏁 : Spicy chilli with cherry bakewell gives way to a subtle smoke
Thoughts 💭: Over smoke is not as smoky as I thought it would be, but I’m glad about that. The 53.1% packs a big punch but the dram is over wise not miles apart from the first release. Not necessarily a bad thing, this has illuminated the distillery’s flavour profile
