Colour 🌈 : Caramel
Nose👃🏼 : Apple crumble, caramel, chocolate, fruit cake, cinnamon and orange zest
Taste 👅 : Christmas cake with custard, cinnamon, red apples and black pepper
Finish 🏁 : Cinnamon and chocolate orange
Thoughts 💭 : Pretty tasty dram, this has been matured in Oloroso Sherry casks imparting some good sweet sherry flavours. The mouthfeel is thick and the more you drink the more the sweeter notes pop out.
All in all it’s pretty good, admittedly I wasn’t a fan of the 12 year old but the 15 is definitely much better, the price isn’t ideal but it’s not terrible, I mean I think it’s probably £10 above where it should be but who knows maybe you can catch one in a sale?
