Colour 🌈 : Incredibly Pale Gold

Nose👃🏼 : Piña Colada, creamy malt, lemon zest, orange peel, honey and porridge oats

Taste 👅 : Vanilla ice cream, pineapple chunks, orange marmalade, coconut milk and a big hit of ginger

Finish 🏁 : Orange marmalade, black pepper and dry oak

Thoughts 💭 : It’s a great single grain, it spent 20 years in bourbon casks giving it big sweet flavours, the mouthfeel is thick and there’s a big hit of ginger spice throughout. Whilst at cask strength it’s smooth enough to drink easily.
This and all whiskies produced by the Dà Mhìle distillery in Wales, is completely organic. In 1992 the distillery was even the first in the world to produce an organic whisky.
