Colour 🌈 : Light Copper
Nose👃🏼 : Pear drops, strawberries, toffee apples, lemon sherbet and manuka honey
Taste 👅 : Chocolate caramel, cinnamon spice, ripe pear, orange zest and ginger
Finish 🏁 : Sea salt, ripe pear and dry oak
Thoughts 💭 : Lovely dram with a maritime feel behind it. It has an oily mouthfeel and is both fruity, sweet and spicy. There’s plenty of chocolatey flavours in there and the spice lasts throughout backed up by the higher abv. A little longer finish in the sherry casks would have been nice but either way it’s pretty tasty.
