Colour 🌈 : Light Copper

Nose👃🏼 : Toffee pennies, orange peel, chocolate caramel, tobacco and baking spices

Taste 👅 : Lots of spices, cinnamon and ginger bring lots of heat along with some black pepper, caramel pulls through with some orange marmalade and nuts

Finish 🏁 : Black pepper, tangy citrus and dry oak

Thoughts 💭 : This spent 10 years in ex bourbon Hogshead refill casks meaning little bourbon flavour met the whisky, leaving more distillery flavours in the mix and then it met the Italian (actually Sicily) Marsala cask for 2 years. The result of this has given fruity and sweet flavours.
The whisky is fantastic, complex in its flavours and uniquely brilliant, definitely worth a try.
