Colour 🌈 : Dirty Copper Red

Nose👃🏼 : Cinnamon spice, Christmas cake, apple turnover, brown sugar and cocoa nibs

Taste 👅 : Lots of creamy chocolate, chocolate cake and custard, toffee apples, black pepper and cinnamon spice

Finish 🏁 : Cocoa nibs, black pepper and dry oak

Thoughts 💭 : Great whisky from Filey Bay, it’s quite smooth and balanced and full of the usual flavours you’d expect from a sherry cask. That being said the sherry influence wasn’t quite as rich as I’d hoped it would have been although to keep the balance I suppose anymore would have required an older whisky to maintain the balance of flavours
