Nose👃🏼: Hay, salted caramel, fudge, citrus peel and spices
Taste 👅: Leather taste followed by fiery heat. Further sips open up to barley, ginger and a very floral almost earthy taste
Finish 🏁 : Heat tails off leaving almost a smoky taste followed by dry oak
Thoughts 💭: Very interesting dram that feels more savoury than the sweetness you would expect. It’s 18 years has given it some complexity and it comes across as a fairly refreshing dram, smooth and well balanced
