Colour 🌈 : Straw

Nose👃🏼: Sweet peaty smoke, vanilla fudge, red currant jam, cereal and honey

Taste 👅 : Campfire smoke quickly followed by sizzling spicy heat that heats the tongue. Further sips reveal sweet notes of vanilla fudge and honey along with hints of salty malt

Finish 🏁 : Lingering smoke and red berries followed by charred oak

Thoughts 💭 : A fairy heavily peated dram, the heat notably hits the tongue and not the throat showing the typical smoothness of a Balvenie pulling through. It’s a great dram especially if you’re a fan of The Balvenie but it is a little costly compared to other peated whiskies
