Taste 👅 : Fruity, tropical fruits, ripe banana, plums, glacé cherries, orange marmalade, leather and cinnamon spice

Finish 🏁 : Black Forest gateaux, plum skins and honey

Thoughts 💭 : It has an oily mouthfeel but it’s also quite mouth coating at the same time and has a lot of good fruity and sweet flavours with a good amount of spice. A very pleasant drink.
It’s also pleasing to see this edition has been done without chill filtration or added colouring giving it a beautiful natural golden hue.

The Collectible is a 16 Year Old Highland Single Malt whisky, matured in Bourbon casks and finished in a blend of Graham’s Tawny Port pipes and Apostoles sherry casks, with a small portion in peated, hand-selected, ex-refill Bourbon casks, housed in a presentation case that echoes the glowing, swirling design of The Rare sculpture. 20,000 sets will be available at select luxury and specialist retailers worldwide as well as global travel retail, with an RRP of £275.
