Colour 🌈 : Dark Copper Brown

Nose👃🏼 : Big chocolate, fruit cake, cherries, cinnamon, vegetable stock cubes and earthy

Taste 👅 : Chocolate, fruit cake, thick treacle, cinnamon spice and lots of warming ginger

Finish 🏁 : Cocoa nibs and dry oak

Thoughts 💭 : To say this is a sherry bomb is an understatement, whilst the abv isn’t out of this world huge it’s feels like it’s double what it is when the sip it. It has a thick mouthfeel with a lot of ginger and cinnamon spice throughout. After a few sips the sherry flavours start pulling through but the spice definitely remains.
For me personally it’s one that probably needs a little water and I don’t tend to use water. If you want your socks knocked off then this is one for you but if you just want something tasty you may be better with a classic Edradour or a Signatory Edradour 10 at 46% abv.
