Nose👃🏼 : Chocolate, fruit cake, cherries, Black Forest gateaux, stone fruits, apricots and chocolate digestives

Taste 👅 : Sweet glacé cherries, cinnamon, fruit cake, stone fruits, apricot jam, dark chocolate and ginger

Finish 🏁 : Black Forest gateaux, cinnamon, digestives and a dry oak

Thoughts 💭 : Great dram, full of complexity and lots of sweet flavours. Quite similar to a sherry finish except with more fruity flavours involved throughout. The mouthfeel is thick and the complexity is fantastic, the flavours dance around and change with each sip going between sweet chocolates to cinnamon fruit cakes and fruity jams all mingled with some warm ginger in the background, just delightful.
