Colour 🌈 : Caramel

Nose👃🏼 : Red apples, gingerbread, orange peel, baking spices and floral

Taste 👅 : Barley sugar, honey, orange marmalade and ginger spice

Finish 🏁 : More orange marmalade, a touch of dark chocolate, roasted nuts and dry oak

Thoughts 💭 : This 16 year old was drawn from Sherry casks giving it some sweetness and hints of chocolate, it also gives a thick mouthfeel to the dram. It has more of a bittersweet taste running throughout with some warming spice from the ginger.
In all it’s a nice dram but if you want something similar, a little better and cheaper just get a Lochlea Harvest Edition.
