Nose👃🏼 : Chocolate digestives, pear drops, stone fruits and some ginger

Taste 👅 : Vanilla ice cream, malty biscuits, ripe pear and black pepper

Finish 🏁 : Brine and saline

Thoughts 💭 : It’s an alright dram, it has a thick mouthfeel with a lot of sweet and fruity notes to it along with some salty savoury notes and a little spice.
The whisky was matured in Bourbon casks, Sherry butts and Malaga casks but the latter two don’t particularly seem to have had a huge influence.
Nevertheless it is a good dram and not too sweet for a grain whiskey making it a lot easier to drink.
