Colour 🌈 : Dark Amber

Nose👃🏼 : Green apples, chocolate caramel, citrus peel, cinnamon and brown sugar

Taste 👅 : Smooth chocolate, green apples, musty dunnage, damp oak and black pepper

Finish 🏁 : Orange marmalade and sea salt

Thoughts 💭 : It’s a good dram with some nice complexity behind it, the mouthfeel is medium it’s not thick nor quite oily, there’s a bittersweet flavour around it with some saline bringing that maritime character to it.
Whilst it is good I would much prefer if it had matured in a Sherry cask rather than bourbon and Spanish oak but that’s perhaps personal preference.
