Colour 🌈 : Golden

Nose👃🏼 : Big peat smoke that is quickly taken over by sweet notes of honey, stone fruits, wheat crackers and toasted pineapple

Taste 👅 : Beach BBQ, smoked bacon, orange marmalade, black pepper spice, hints of peaches and burnt pineapple chunks

Finish 🏁 : Burnt oak ashes, smoked salty meat and dry oak

Thoughts 💭 : Another great peated dram from That Boutique-y Whisky Company’s core range. There’s good complexity behind it, the mouthfeel is oily and there’s a good amount of spice lingering throughout. The peat brings savoury flavours with it but gives way to more sweet and fruity flavours bringing some good balance to the whisky. If you’re a big peat fan then this is one not to be missed.
