Nose👃🏼 : Red Apple peel, milk chocolate, fruit cake, cinnamon and musty dunnage

Taste 👅 : Sizzling spicy ginger, chilli chocolate, red apple slices, mixed fruit peel and oak spices

Finish 🏁 : Roasted nuts, root ginger, lingering cinnamon and dry oak

Thoughts 💭 : Beautiful dram, it’s incredibly spicy throughout, balanced with the sweet sherry flavours imparted after 12 years maturing in Oloroso casks. There are hints of Christmas cake throughout lying beneath the spice. The mouthfeel is not quite oily there is a thickness to it in parts. 
This mysterious speyside forms part of That Boutique-y Whisky Company’s core range and even comes in 70cl bottles breaking away from their usual 50cl.
At the low price and great quality, this is surely meant to lure buyers in, it’s well worth grabbing a bottle now before the prices go up as popularity rises.
