Nose👃🏼 : Orange peel, lemon zest, ripe pear, barley sugar and honey

Taste 👅 : Nectarines, creamy vanilla, barley sugar and black pepper

Finish 🏁 : Black pepper, marmalade, malt and dry oak

Thoughts 💭 : When I first reviewed this I wasn’t wowed away by it, in fact I wasn’t fussed by it at all. However as the bottle was left to rest the spirit opened up more and when I had another dram or two I actually found it quite excellent to the point I stopped drinking it to save it. Pretty interesting really, it has sweet and savoury flavours but the more it opens the more the fruity sweet nectarines open out and leave you with a marmalade bittersweet taste in the finish. Maybe you weren’t blown away by this either at first but maybe it’s time to try it again!
