Colour 🌈 : Light Copper

Nose👃🏼 : Chocolate covered Turkish delight, marzipan, nuts, fruit cake and stone fruits

Taste 👅 : Plums, dark fruits, cherries, some dark chocolate and cinnamon

Finish 🏁 : Mocha, baking spices and dry oak

Thoughts 💭 : This spent 10 years in ex bourbon Hogshead refill casks meaning little bourbon flavour met the whisky, leaving more distillery flavours in the mix and then it met the Italian Amarone cask for 2 years. The result is something similar to PX but definitely more unique given more red wine or port like flavours and the dryness that comes with it. A very unique whisky, the nose is incredible, it’s definitely worth a try.
