Nose👃🏼 : Sweet hits of Ferrero Rocher, hazelnut chocolate, plums, orange peels, pear drops, earthy, glacé cherries, toffee and hints of shortbread

Taste 👅 : Crumbly shortbread, citrus zest, malted honey, barley sugar, grapefruit, earthy flavours and ginger spice

Finish 🏁 : Lingering spice, fruity notes, pears, plums and a touch of apricot and black pepper

Thoughts 💭 : A nice dram, there’s some good complexity in it with a lot of familiar flavours from the distillery itself. Some find smoky flavours in the dram but if they’re there then they are pretty subtle. This particular expression has the following maturation: 37% first-fill US Oak, 19% Virgin US Oak, 19% Premium French Oak and 23% Vin Doux Naturel
