🖍 Natural Colour

Colour 🌈 : Light Amber

Nose👃🏼 : Dark chocolate, almonds, cinnamon, oak, red wine, caramel, plumbs and apricots

Taste 👅 : Cocoa powder, gingerbread, cherries, raisins, pineapple, dry oak, sea salt, hints of toffee and lots of ginger spice

Finish 🏁 : Lingering spice, fruity flavours pop out like pineapples, apricots, peaches and plumbs. A tannic taste like that after drinking dry red wine resounds throughout

Thoughts 💭 : It’s a nice dram, it has some interesting elements and presumably the tannic taste throughout comes from the Scottish oak. Whilst it is interesting and complex, the price it entered the market was nothing short of perplexing. It was close to that of their own 21 year old, to me it feels overpriced and I would rather get a bottle of the 16 or one of their warehouse releases

Sláinte!
