Nose👃🏼 : Sandy dunes, smoked kippers, smoky bacon, beach bbq and vanilla pod

Taste 👅 : Strong peat smoke, vanilla essence, red berries, stone fruits, bbq’d bananas, smoked bacon, green apples and black pepper spice

Finish 🏁 : Smoky smouldering oak, flame grilled burgers and salty sea water

Thoughts 💭 : What a peated dram, the king of them? Not quite, but it’s up there. It flies off the shelves for a reason, it’s a well balanced peated dram that offers good complexity at a good price. There are other peated drams that are better but for the cost I’d argue this is certainly the best value for money peated whisky you can or maybe can’t get your hands on.
