Colour 🌈 : Dark Burnt Copper

Nose👃🏼 : Brown sugar, raisins, vanilla fudge, fruit cake, chocolate caramel, cinnamon and ginger

Taste 👅 : Dark chocolate, cocoa nibs, mocha, figs, fruit cake, cherries and cinnamon spice

Finish 🏁 : Cinnamon, ginger, oily and more fruitcake

Thoughts 💭 : It’s a great dram, you’ll probably already be aware that the distillery is of course Macallan as hinted with the ‘M’. The distillery flavours are subtle and if I didn’t know it was Macallan I would never have guessed it was. Some typical Macallan flavours are there but it’s mostly overwhelmed by the Oloroso Sherry and cask strength. It’s possible a touch of water may bring the distillery out so it may be worth a try if you’re that way inclined. All in all take it for what it is and you’ll enjoy it
