Colour 🌈 : Golden

Nose👃🏼 : Glacé cherries, milk chocolate, fruit cake, lemon peel and orange zest

Taste 👅 : Stone fruits, cherries covered in milk chocolate, plums and cinnamon spice

Finish 🏁 : Lingering spice, oat cakes, dry oak and lemon zest

Thoughts 💭 : Not a bad whisky, it is full of depth and flavour but for me it’s not quite as good as the liquid put out by Duncan Taylor in their octaves and single casks which really make this whisky shine. Perhaps if they finished this 18 in an Oloroso or PX cask it may blend better with the distilleries flavours
