Picture of GlenAllachie 8 year old Scottish Virgin Oak

❄️ Non Chill Filtered

🖍 Natural Colour

Colour 🌈 : Golden Orange

Nose👃🏼 : Orange peel, hops, barley, toffee, Heather and ginger

Taste 👅 : Lots of honey, barley sugar, toffee, cinnamon, a little chocolate and lots of ginger spice

Finish 🏁 : Ginger spice lingers then fruity flavours of apple peel, orange slices, peaches and a hint of tannic taste

Thoughts 💭 : It’s an interesting one from GlenAllachie, seems a bit of an experiment from them. It does have good flavours but not those of your normal GlenAllachie. This is a bit more sweet and fruity, it’s not going to replace the 12 year old for me but it is a little something different. Personally I think if they took this liquid and chucked it into a sherry cask for 4 years it would probably create an incredible dram. In fairness though I have zero experience as a distiller so what do I know 🤷‍♂️

Sláinte!
