🖍 Natural Colour

Colour 🌈 : Caramel

Nose👃🏼 : Milk chocolate, lemon zest, malt, honey, lavender and oil

Taste 👅 : Oily, malted biscuits, dark chocolate, nuts, sugar barley, lemon zest and black pepper

Finish 🏁 : Lingering black pepper, orange peel and more malt

Thoughts 💭 : It’s quite nice but the fact this dram only spent 3 months in a Sherry octave comes through, the normal Sherry flavours don’t quite shine through although there’s some chocolate flavours popping out the fruit cake and cinnamon you normally get doesn’t quite make it. It is a much cheaper octave though so it’s certainly a good one to try if you don’t want to jump in the deep end with a huge sherry bomb. All around though this is pleasant to sip and I don’t think you would be disappointed by it.

Sláinte!
