Nose👃🏼: Sherried Christmas cake with candied fruit, chocolate and cherries

Taste 👅: Musty dunnage, ginger spice, dark chocolate, cherries, roasted almonds, burnt brown sugar and spices

Finish 🏁 : Cinnamon spices and dry oak

Thoughts 💭: Great dram finished in an Oloroso Sherry cask which imparts its flavours well into the whisky as shown by the amber hue imbued upon it. Royal Brackla happens to have been the first distillery to have a royal warrant granted by King William IV in 1833
