Colour 🌈: Straw

Nose👃🏼: Chocolate fudge, toffee, fruity, pears, sherbet lemon, barley and honey

Taste 👅: Fresh, honeyed barley, pear drops and warm ginger spice

Finish 🏁 : Chilli heat, small amount of salty crisps, orange peel and malt

Thoughts 💭: Quite a refreshing dram and a little bit different from the usual Glengoyne offering. Whilst still retaining the fruity flavours of the distillery there seems to be a little less of the sweet toffee like flavours you would get with their 18 year old. This is due to this old particular one being matured in a refill hogshead for 17 years
