❄️ Non Chill Filtered
🖍 Natural Colour
Colour 🌈 : Light Bronze
Nose👃🏼 : Chocolate caramel, red grapes, orange marmalade, iron, cinnamon and hints of marzipan
Taste 👅 : Light and fruity to begin with, irn Bru finds it’s way out followed by chocolate caramel with some ginger spice. Trail mix is also amongst it with hints of dried fruit
Finish 🏁 : Lingering ginger, marzipan and orange zest
Thoughts 💭 : Not your usual Glenallachie by any means but still delivers some of the classical chocolatey caramel flavours from the distillery but this is mixed in with more fruity and complex flavours. At 48% it drinks incredibly smooth with a light and oily mouthfeel. It’s not something I feel will blow away the 12yo which is just fantastic however it is a great offering from the distillery and offers something a little different to GA fans like myself
