Nose👃🏼 : Candied orange segments, jelly tots, apple peel, oats and glacé cherries

Taste 👅 : Malty, lots of sweet jellied fruit flavours, mild warmth and honey

Finish 🏁 : Light and smooth finish

Thoughts 💭 : A pretty smooth whisky, easy to drink and offers some fair character. One that will sit well with lovers of light and fruity whiskies.
I’m a little disappointed they chose to colour the whisky, i never have a problem with a light coloured whisky, but that and the chill filtration (contrary to popular opinion) do not take away from the taste.
The bottle, I have to say, is marvellous. You can’t appreciate it until you come to open it, it reeks of classic whisky. It’s almost like it’s own decanter and the cork top also has some class behind it.
