Colour 🌈: Very Dark Amber

Nose👃🏼: Cinnamon and other sweet spices, toffee and chocolate fudge, candied fruit, raisins and hints of smoked bacon

Taste 👅: Deep sherry notes, sizzling spicy cinnamon, candied fruit peel soaked in sherry. Dark chocolate caramel, a hint of bitter coffee and orange zest

Finish 🏁 : Cracked black pepper, dry oak and a hint of bonfire smoke

Thoughts 💭: This is one big Sherry bomb having matured in oak barrels and been finished off in a first fill PX hogshead! After the initial blast of Sherry which is emphasised by the strength of this whisky, some flavours begin to develop. At first Sherry flavours but the more you drink the more these give way to the Ben Nevis flavours, the journey of which is very interesting and makes for a complex whisky that keeps on delivering
