Colour 🌈 : Caramel

Nose👃🏼 : Lots of honeyed malt and sugar barley. Hints of bitter coffee, dark chocolate and Demerara sugar

Taste 👅 : Drizzled honey on oat cakes, powerful ginger spice, more bitter coffee and black pepper

Finish 🏁 : Lingering spice, more black pepper and a dry oak

Thoughts 💭 : Not really a favourite for me but then it’s all down to preference. The dram packs a punch with spice and plenty of malt but just not enough complexity or interest to warrant its high rrp. If you’re a huge fan of Mortlach though, you may love it
