Colour 🌈 : Caramel

Nose👃🏼 : Lots of caramel, honey, iron, orange peel, hints of chocolate, coffee and a little smoke

Taste 👅 : Chocolate caramel, orange marmalade, fruit cake, lemon curd, soap or cherry lips and ginger

Finish 🏁 : Ginger root lingers, orange slices comes through with a tinge of iron

Thoughts 💭 : Good dram and could have been great but the odd taste of soap / cherry lips put me off a little. If it wasn’t for the fact I just drank another whisky and then water from the same glass I would have sworn I hadn’t rinsed it properly after washing. It definitely carries through the liquid and whilst it’s interesting to taste cherry lips in a whisky it’s a bit of a shame in this case as I think this would have been excellent if not for that. If you’re a big fan of cherry lips or your grandmothers hand soap in your mouth then go crazy!
