❄️ Non Chill Filtered
🖍 Natural Colour
Colour 🌈 : Straw
Nose👃🏼 : Pear drops, lemon sherbet, oat biscuits, hay, floral and earthly notes, drizzled honey and barley
Taste 👅 : Sweet creamy vanilla toffee, lemon meringue, malted barley, pear drops and black pepper spice
Finish 🏁 : Cracked black pepper lingers and opens up to a dry and fruity finish
Thoughts 💭 : A pretty interesting dram, reminds me of Springbank in both taste profile and popularity. This particular one was matured exclusively in an ex-bourbon cask. It’s a great dram but nothing to get excited about coughing up hundreds at an auction for. It seems the rarity and flipping cost is what makes this popular rather than the liquid, this is backed by the fact the full size bottles sold out at ballot instantly but the drams to try them have remained in stock to this day! Maybe worth the money at rrp but don’t get excited at auction until you’ve tried a dram!
Sláinte!
