Nose👃🏼: Tropical fruits, sweet red berries, smoky campfire and smoked bacon

Taste 👅: Deep peat smoke, red berry compote, smoked pineapple, bbq’d banana and buttery shortbread

Finish 🏁 : Lingering smoke and tropical fruits

Thoughts 💭: To be honest I think this was a pretty good idea, I mean I often find rum cask finishes in non-peated whiskies a little too sweet but the idea to put them with peated is brilliant. The sweet and savoury contrasting flavours really balances the whisky out, makes it complex and interesting. If you’re a pest fan then you really need to give this one a go
