Nose👃🏼 : Fruit cake, chocolate caramel, raisins, nuts and cinnamon spice that tickles the nose
Taste 👅 : Brown sugar, cola, creamy chocolate, more fruit cake, buttery toast and warm ginger
Finish 🏁 : Sugar barley and fruit peel with a hint of black pepper
Thoughts 💭: Lovely dram from The GlenDronach, as expected of course. I wasn’t sure what to expect of this being a 12yo but actually it’s fairly delicious, the Sherry to whisky is very well balanced and the dram has a freshness to it. Of course without even knowing which year of bottle this sample came from I can tell it has been chill filtered as that lovely mouth feel isn’t quite there however the taste remains and it is good
