Colour 🌈: Light Caramel

Nose👃🏼: Green apples, lemon zest, honey and oats

Taste 👅: Barley sugar, creamy oats, cherry cough syrup and peppery spice

Finish 🏁 : Black pepper lingers with hints of cough syrup followed by a dry oak

Thoughts 💭: An interesting dram, the name made me believe it would have been matured in STR American oak casks but was actually matured in ex bourbon barrels which explains the sweet flavours. It’s not a favourite dram of mine but it is fairly reasonably priced and I do think it is good value for money
