Brenne Estate Cask Whisky

Colour 🌈 : Straw

Nose👃🏼: Fruity Sherbet hits the nose and perhaps rose Turkish delight taking you back to your childhood days (mine at least), exotic fruits, vanilla hints and banana peel

Taste 👅 : Wow, banana hits the tongue with those sherbet / Turkish delight notes and then there’s a warm fizzle of spice. Sweet honey pulls through with rose water

Finish 🏁 : More fruit with the likes of peaches and other classically very juicy fruits like pineapple

Thoughts 💭: A fairly new distillery launched back in 2012 it claims to be the first single malt aged in French Limousin oak casks and ex-Cognac casks.
A very interesting dram and certainly well worth a try, a touch on the sweet side so it would lend well to cocktails!

Sláinte!
