Colour 🌈: Straw

Nose👃🏼: Fruity, sea air, hints of charred oak and honeyed malt

Taste 👅: Honeyed malt, cracked sea salt with some warm black pepper and hints of watery fruits

Finish 🏁 : Lingering black pepper, salty crackers and dry oak

Thoughts 💭: It’s a fairly smooth dram but with some good heat. The flavour for me is lacking, there just doesn’t seem to be much about it in honesty I’m a little disappointed knowing most rum cask finishes usually impart such fruity flavours but this one only hints at these. It’s a tough gamble but I think this one needed a little longer in the barrel
