Nose👃🏼: Paint stripper hits the nose, fruity scents of plums and citrus peel, floral notes and hints of butter

Taste 👅: Sweet buttery notes, toffee popcorn then a wave a spicy heat. Further sips reveal more sweetness, butterscotch notes but a consistent chilli spice heat

Finish 🏁 : A long finish with floral notes followed by oak

Thoughts 💭: The taste of this was a pleasant surprise as the nose didn’t seem to yield much in terms of sweet notes. A lovely complex whisky with a big kick from the 54.9% the price for a 27 yo whisky is pretty great too!
