Nose👃🏼: Victoria sponge with lashings of custard, honey, candied fruit peel and hints of peaches
Taste 👅: Big hits of caramel and passion fruit with other licks of tropical fruits and red berries and sizzling ginger spice.
Real mouth feel of cream
Finish 🏁 : Fruity finish that leads to a dry red wine
Thoughts 💭: A nice dram with lots of different flavours and complexity around it. The rum and wine casks don’t come through as much as you would like them to leading me to think that perhaps the ratio is too much in favour of the ex-bourbon barrels.
